2. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Daily Check-In application (“App”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
3. Description of Service
Daily Check-In is a wellbeing and safety support tool allowing users to perform daily check-ins and optionally notify designated contacts if a check-in is missed.
4. Not an Emergency Service / No Life-Saving Guarantee
THE APP IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE. It does not contact police, medical services, or any official authorities.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:
- That alerts will be sent
- That alerts will be received
- That contacts will respond
- That any user will receive help
The app may fail due to network, device, or technical issues.
YOU USE THE APP ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE APP IS NOT DESIGNED OR INTENDED AS A LIFE-SAVING SYSTEM.
5. User Responsibilities
You must provide accurate information and ensure your emergency contacts have explicitly consented.
6. Emergency Contact Consent
You confirm that all emergency contacts have agreed to be contacted. You are solely responsible for this.
7. Subscription and Payments
The App may require a subscription.
- Payments are processed via Apple App Store or Google Play
- Subscriptions renew automatically
- Prices may change with notice
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.
8. Cancellation and Withdrawal Rights (EU/EEA)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal.
However, by using the App immediately after purchase, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
9. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
10. Availability and Reliability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The App may be unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
We shall not be liable for any damages, including personal injury or loss of life, resulting from:
- Missed check-ins
- Failed notifications
- Delays or errors
This limitation applies even if we were advised of such risks.
12. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with GDPR. Please refer to our Privacy Policy.
13. Modifications
We may modify the App or Terms at any time.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Liechtenstein.
